Savable Museum Profiles

So today if I want to attack I have to open the museum, swap the Gladius for the Horn Club, swap the Hunga Munga for Andrea Doria's Arbalest, swap the Georgian Lover's Knot for Pachacuti's Incan Jewelry, and swap the Monile Necklace for Albrecht Durer's Watch. Then when I am finished attacking and want to defend, I have to open the museum, swap the Horn Club for the Gladius, swap Andrea Doria's Arbalest for the Hunga Munga, swap Pachacuti's Incan Jewelry for the Georgian Lover's Knot and swap Albrecht Durer's Watch for the Monile Necklace. But wait, there's more: if I want to collect oil I then have to open the museum, swap the Authepsa Heater for the Bartmann Jug and swap Plato's Vase for Maecenas' Heater. Then to defend again I have to open the museum, swap the Bartmann Jug for the Authepsa Heater and swap Maecenas' Heater for Plato's Vase. And I have to do this multiple times every day.

(The origin of this problem is when they decided to mix artifact categories. So you have weapons that reduce defender spawn time, jewelry that debuff enemy tower damage, and pottery that boost air defense and tower damage)

My proposal is simply this: for each hall in the museum, allow three savable profiles that can be activated with one click to swap multiple artifacts at once, similar to how town and war base layouts are saved.

I feel that this would be a significant quality of life improvement.

YES! This could work the exact same way that base layouts do. Being able to switch back and forth between a raiding profile and a defensive one would save SO much time. And if the artifact associated with a profile is sold, then the profile needs to be edited before it can be applied (much the same way a base layout does). Fantastic suggestion Exiliado!

Thank you, Exiliado! I was going to suggest something similar, because I'm pretty fed up with all the hassle with changing those pesky artifacts.

I have one set of jewelry for attack and one for defense. Unfortunately I often forget to open museum and swap them for the intended purpose. It would be nice, if you could do the switch from the Prepare for Battle! window without going back to your base, open the museum, scroll to appropriate artifacts, swap them and then back to the battle preparations...

I have also six sets of twin pottery artifacts: adding oil production plus defense, adding vault interest, adding vault capacity, reducing library oil cost, reducing library gold cost and finally reducing library food cost,... Phew! :/
Luckily my library is now fully done, so I don't have to bother with those library sets at the moment. They are stored for possible library upgrade in the Information Age.

So, I wouldn't mind if there were actually even more than three pre-saved artifact combinations that you could simply change with a couple of clicks.

Throwing another vote to Exiliado’s idea! It has been proposed before but probably lost in archives.
Setting things up like our 3 base choices in a good comparison. Imagine the convenience of categories such as:
- Defense (your fave museum pieces when sleeping)
- Offense (your power pieces used when planing to flatten another base)
- Raiding (can include your best resource bonus pieces)
- Resource Production (when you have a peace shield or want your base to work harder).
- 2 Vault options (withdraws and deposits)
- Etc.
Devs please make this happen :)
