See troop combination of an attacker in World War

In World War replays you can see the attacker's troop loss at the end. However, it'd be also interesting to see the exact troop combination they started the attack with. Seeing and counting the attacker's troops on the battlefield is not really accurate or telling.

Good suggestion!
The replay can probably start with the summary display window that's shown when we click on 'Attack', which shows all of the troops, tactics, generals, donated troops, and any troop tactics that we take into the attack.

I agree. But it must be done correctly, because a possible bug could show different troops from what actually used and lead to wrong accusation of cheating. Otherwise it is useful indeed and, if implemented correctly, shall help finding cheaters

They revealed the strategy as soon as they started showing replays.

There's a big difference between troop combination and strategy, which is off topic.
The strategy should be a secret but with the replays it isn't anymore.
But what difference would it make if you knew the full combination after the battle? Other than using it to detect a cheater I can't see the point, It wouldn't help your defence.

I agree with you, but the replays are very important because they show you weak points of your base. As for troop combination, the sole purpose is to detect cheaters

Saruman the White actually I think the game would be more fun without replays (although they do help detect cheaters). Basically if we were only shown troops that attacked and troops that survived (perhaps on the same list of attacking troops, troops that didn't make it would be shown in red, and if only part of those troops made it, that unit would be partially red based on proportion that died). As far as replays, removing them would do the following:

- Help hide attacker's strategy, make defender think harder on their defense, and add a bit of mystery
- Make friendly challenges more relevant, since the clan could use them for testing the weak points of your base like you propose

The only real counter-argument against showing troop combinations and replays is the inane argument that "he's gonna copy me if he sees that I five-starred his base!", from what I can tell. Can anyone who thinks these shouldn't be shown establish exactly why it's not worth showing?

To see whole troops composition is much better then to see only casualties, so you have my vote for this ✌.
Also i think replays are very important part of the game, and i suppose next step will be to watch live attacks of your teammates.

Maybe we should ask all attackers to send their entire action plan to us before all attacks? Including which direction the planes will come from and how many troop cards they use?
Also we we should ask attackers to only use sabotage tactics and only use them on our markets and mills.
That should make things easier for everyone.

I don’t see how knowing people’s troop layout would help in anyway. How bout everyone stop giving them ideas for a while so they can focus on fixing bugs
