So much for unique troops

Hey guys,

Unique to the British, their Shooters have to have +1 range. However this buff is applied seemingly universally to all units you have.

See the attached.
The Green Jacket is my unit.
The Peoples Heavy Rifleman is an Alliance Donated unit.

Why do they have the same range?

What’s the point of ever fielding your own unit? Wouldn’t this then make it meta to just request a legion of Chinese units to have both the x2 fire rate AND the +1 range?
