Solving my problem is risky business

It appears innocuous enough: I was not given the discount for the latest high culture event. I was waiting for university research to conclude before upgrading that and the temple. The research finished about 15-20 minutes before the event was ending; however as soon as the research finished, all the discounted buildings went back to costing regular price. I went ahead with uni, but not the temple I also wanted to do. Then, with all my screenshots handy, I let CS know that the event was ended early for me, and that I'd like a refund of the extra gold I was charged.

Well, that was on the 26th, and to this date I still have no resolution. A major issue occurred yesterday where players games were rolled back accidentally- it appears that within 17 hours this very complex problem was resolved, and players compensated 1000 crowns. Yet, simply giving me back the extra 33% gold appears to be causing terrible confusion?

In fact, upon giving CS a little more detail on my mystery, they responded back, bizarrely, to tell me to please continue to be patient because if they tried to fix my problem (you know, the tiny gold refund) too soon, before uncovering the mystery behind it, well, it could have catastrophic game altering repercussions. Ummm, ooookaaaaay?

So, what do you all think? Anyone else experience this? Or is it really just my game that is destined to destroy this universe? Care to not weigh in on this one, Nb4powerup?

UPDATE: You'll all be pleased to know my issue did not bring down DomiNations! I did finally receive my refund (on September 30th)!!!

Thanks, Eddie F1! Good to know when the 'true' UTC time is actually considered to be by devs. Perhaps refunding me the cost would upset the balance of the space time continuum- they definitely should be careful in taking that risk.

Glacier, I honestly haven't the slightest clue why you're unable to pm me. I have that feature turned on and others have pm'd me before.

But also not sure why offering you a tissue was an issue in the first place?
