But poop_ my proposal will make defense even more important. If a base requires multiple people to take it down the first round of 5stars that's 5 less points (per extra attack) available in total score. You have to have strength in both offense (being able to 5 star) and defense (denying 5star) for every player in the war. If anything, I feel if they don't limit the bonus cards (as I think they should) then players will most likely devote all their efforts on creating an impenetrable base that eats up attacks. If this method of war is implemented (along with limiting bonus cards) then the strongest team truly prevails. Perfect scores will only be given to a team who can perfectly perfect (every player 5 stars 2 bases) with that in mind stalemates would be very rare as both alliances would have to do this remarkable feat. I believe this system would produce a leaderboard that truly reflects the best alliances.... once all the unworthy (weak alliances sandbagging to puff themselves up... not the ones forced to do it to get a match or avoid stalemate) sandbaggers are eliminated from the field that is. See my original post when I proposed it last August https://forum.nexonm.com/forum/nexo...de-the-box-gail-s-answer-to-world-war-problem

Option #8: Easy tie breaker rule:
a) the alliance with the lower level last ranked member loses.
b) the alliance with the higher difference between 1st and last ranked member loses
etc...
Any option is OK, that hits the sandbag misery.

Here in the forum it seems from many responses, that stalemate is the problem nr1.
From NEXONs perspective apparently not. Only the hardcore sandbaggers are crying out loud, that it is the reason of their bad habit.
Army cards and sandbags are the problem for the normal players, as these two things are hiding their base engineering skills, and are hiding the mediocrity of unskilled players (with a fat wallet).
Nexon likes more the fat wallet guys so army cards will stay. NEXON likes even more the mediocre skilled fat wallet guys as they need to spend more. All the top alliances are full with these types of players - as having 220 exp level 1 month after AA release can't be done without paying for it. And if someone pays for it, he will happily pay for the armies too.

GailWho I think some alliances would take that route and invest in defense.
But, alliances who have their offense 2 ages above their defense, would prevail in this system. The matchmaking already doesn't weight offense enough, which is ultimately the problem. Fix this, and there would be less stalemates.
If they fix this, yes, the pancake system would probably work.

mmmm.. delicious pancakes... :)

You are a bit off. I know lot of payers and they certainly want event troops flood to STOP. Even with their upgraded bases for money (and for their team) they are getting no reward in form of defense. And thats what counts in hundreds ofwars played every day.

New event seems like the airlift event. If so, Nexon is going backwards or simply they don't care WW.

Brad, u still around? Care to comment on why anything to do with WW is ignored? (I don't consider your "fix" of sandbagging an actual fix, sorry.)

Well, they didnt say it was fix. It was an initial step torwards eliminating sandbagging. Not bad, but it needs to be solved a LOT more.

Where am I off here? That the army cards and sandbags are the problem?
Without army cards the stalemates would be there only for heavy weights probably.
Without sandbags the mismatched WWs would not exist.

And believe me the whales just don't like, that the others get the extra armies for free. You can be sure that the ones paying for all offensive and defensive AA upgrades are and we're buying extra armies. Just look at some uploaded vids with tactics being at the end of the troops tray at pos. 31 and 32....
