Has anyone completed Suleiman Research at the university? I am CWA with maxed offence (except Hannibal) and starting on defensive upgrades. I am starting (25%) on Saladin and yet to start on Suleiman. So was wondering if I should start or not. The problem that I see with Suleiman is the benefits come very late as resource and multiplayer related benefits are of no use (IMO).

If you think the upgrades will work for you then do the ones you want. I’ve done none of his upgrades, none of them (Except anti tank guns) appeal to me.

Exactly and even that comes very late and the grand finale stage is also not great. I would vote to replace this entire class of research with something more useful.

i did a lot of university research when i was in Atomic but i regret it after cwa was released with a 220 lvl requirement and i didnt meet it. reflecting on that, i would rather work on getting enough xp for space age.

if you do feel like you have enough xp for space age already, then i would suggest Catherine’s city center hp more than Suleiman’s antitank gun dmg or hp. i find it to be much more helpful defensively. although i should mention about my antitank guns that 2 are green and 4 are black and none have any yellow on them so im not getting much out of the 30% buffs.

Not completed but I have finished ATG Hitpoints and ATG damage, they do pay off. The thing is I started with Suleiman when I was IA or Global, I did all the research on Mortars in the library and combined with Suleiman and the Mongol coalition they are/were great. Much faster en more HP as Siege Artillery. Also I used the bonus from the Mongols on the Demolition (upgraded by Suleiman) withg great succes in WW and to destroy 2nd TC (before nerfing Demolition). These tactics and strategies I abandoned later but I could easily upgrade the ATG in the University. With blessings and Museum mine ATG are:
19346 HP
12533 DPS
Pain in the arse for HT and fighters destroying them (always have a SAM next to them).
