Sunday stats: active players

Time for some numbers that we all like:

total players: 3.5mio
active last 30 days: 234’000
active last 14 days: 211’000
active last 7 days: 196’000

Losing 40’000 per month (could be linked to temporary bans). This also exclude the Asian players I guess as they are playing on different servers.

I will update next Sunday morning ...

200k players around has been for quite some time. Do not hope that the number of banned is so high that it will be reflected in these figures. More clearly observe the upper Ages only.

I don’t understand how you see “losing 40000 per month” in those stats. The 234k active in the last 30 days also includes those active in the last 14 days and the last 7 days. It would be more meaningful if you compared these 3 numbers with the corresponding numbers from 30 days ago or 30 days from now.

Like these from your Jan 17 post:

3.5 millions of players, but only 240 000 active ones the last 30 days
last 14 days: 215 608
last 7 days: 193 364

so less players are connecting...50´000 less players in 30 days if I extrapolate. Might be related to holidays I hope as this is definitely a bad trend.

So active players in last 30 days is down 6K, in last 14 days is down 4K, and in last 7 days is up 3K. So net 3K became more active, and 7K became less active since Jan 17. (Corrected)

Both my accounts are suffering connectivity issues,mid game crashes and vip retrain fails since the last 2 days. I'll probably never touch any mobile games made by this company or any other companies in future. I played another similar game for 5 years until it closed it servers. I found this game as a good substitute until things started to unravel. Money is not a problem as I'm a person of means,to put it humbly but when I spend and don't get my end of the deal,it is time to stop and move on. Yes,leave the game to its sorry pathetic owners. That's all I have to say.

Even though the source is unreliable, so long as it is consistent then it can show the trend. Play looks to be up!

The game is practically unplayable in asia (china) since the latest update. No instant retrains, marco polo videos, or daily videos available. VIP retrain works. Perhaps because I’m the only freak of nature without a VPN. I see nobody on the forums discussing this...

One other point, dominations.pl only records people in an alliance. I stopped being in an alliance a long time ago since there is no point in doing world war. *perhaps we need a caveat for explaining what an ‘active player’ is. I’m level 310 playing since the beginning of release.

Yes, domi..pl shows the Last Alliance, but this does not affect the statistics in any way.
To be sure, it is important to clear the database of dead records of both players and alliances, but this has never been done.

Yes, I haven't raided since the update. No video = no retraining. I am waiting for fixes and while improving the factory and airstripe. If this continues for a couple of weeks, even the most persistent will throw the game. After all, none of the old-timers will play in the style of three years ago.

I agree. The stats are quite static from month to month.
I appreciate the updates Spaceboy but these snapshots-in-time don't take into account people going on holidays, coming back from holidays, just simply being bored, people not logging in because of 2 week upgrades, people with many accounts only playing casually, etc, etc.
Or maybe even some people are growing up!

No point in world war? No point in developing relationships with fellow players, and sharing resources? Weird. If world war lacks a point then playing this game (in fact, the majority of everything in life) lacks a point.

That said, I strongly urge you to reconsider this stance; finding an alliance with like-minded people is worth it whether you war or not. There's a wide spectrum of alliances out there; some never speak and some fill up chat hourly... some are fun/goofy, some serious, etc.
