this is one of the best units added in game, and despite of some flaws, it's way better than the stupid weak supply trucks
they don't have to cross walls, so they are less likely to be tricked into moving all the way around the base to heal a target or reach a rally through fenestrated wall designs

also have more hp makes them survive the unfairly matched snipers towers

the flaws are they follow attack rallies but thats ok, the second flaw is they don't benefit from cherooke

still better than trucks, but how is it gonna be after the next update nerf?

Suggest they may consider to reduce troop carrying capacity from 15 (5 raiders) to 10 (3 raiders) rather than reducing hitpoint. It wl be hard to destroy oil refinery with full traps surround. If ppl decide to use 2 helicop or more (or 6 raiders), they will need to think if it's time efficiency to re-train.

am worried about the reason they stated for nerf "being too strong" which obviously means the hp, if they nerf the hp badly, this unit is going to be part of history

I got it and just dont allow raiders in. It's a fine unit that befits the grind to get a level 7 factory. While I'm using it to raid oil (Getting raided by TH too), I would instantly sign a deal if Nexon said it would not load raiders.

If you can't load raiders ,you will load infantry ,so they will nerf their HP from my point of view .But my biggest concern is why almost all decent atomic age troops have to be nerf (1-st normal Heli ,now TH)

Probably because so many people rush to atomic and dont have the defense to withstand a lot of atomic troops, thus they are "too powerful"

To the point above about using infantry instead of raiders if TH arent allowed to carry raiders, maybe the do something like 1.5-2 sec delay for all deployed troops for attacking non defensive buildings or troops. So once the troops are deployed they can instantly attack defensive buildings or defending troops, but for that 2 seconds they are not able to attack other buildings.

This would at least require the attacker to use sabos which means they either wait 45m per sabo used or use crowns/blessing to train them faster.

Training time for a TH could also have an increased cost and training time

Making them airstrip units would make them worthless trash. No one is going to use their airstrip space for healing carts.

I have tried using them with infantry before for oil raids. The results are not impressive - infantry don't focus on or do enough dps to the oil well to result in meaningful oil raids. Easily distracted by infantry from ambush traps, and rapidly killed. So the solution of not letting them drop raiders would probably be enough.

I am concerned that they will nerf the TH by reducing its HP dramatically. I think that would be a huge mistake - if this turns into a unit that insta dies to SAM batteries (which it does trigger), then we are back to healing carts and landmines all over again, and you might as well go with the ground based unit that takes less space, does 3x healing, and doesn't cost oil.

If they nerf the HP, they have to make them immune to sniper towers (just like they need to do to attack helis). The tactical helis saving grace is they don't get picked off by sniper towers like truck do, due to their health. They will become worthless if they become paper like trucks.

If they lower it enough that sniper towers are an issue, they won't be useable at all. But even if they only become vulnerable to 1-2 Sam hits, the math on using them changes completely.

Leave the tactical helicopter as it is stats wise but remove the transport function. Or maybe just let it only transport factory troops. I've never seen anyone use this unit's transport function for anything aside from raiding oil, which is why the unit is getting nerfed in the first place. Restrict or remove the transport ability and the tactical helicopter can be left as is.

It is excellent for dropping wall miners exactly where you want them. I also use it to drop infantry ahead of my troops sometimes when I am trying to protect another unit from an ATG.

loading with infantry won't be a problem, a single caltrops with ambush units around ur oil refinery will wipe them in a second

guys, simply for eliminating raider issue, cost increase to 1-2k oil makes it unusable for oil raid cuz u will have to sacrifice it
i know this will be bad for players who use it for normal raids too but they don't die so much like supply trucks so that won't be an issue
