Hi Nexon

Thank you very much for introducing this new parliament thingy.

As you all know, my goal is to stay in Global Age as much as possible. The main reason for that is that I don’t want to get caught up in the rat race that you are creating with the constant introduction of new ages. New ages force people to spend more money by giving them new targets. It’s not that I don’t spend money. I do spend a small amount of money, as every customer should. But I’m not falling for the “new ages” trap. Don’t get me wrong, you have every right to create that trap. I’m just not buying. I just feel sorry for the people who started many years ago, like I did, and are now in some advanced age trying to get to the next one and the next one and the next one, all the time spending more and more and more cash.

Anyway, I had a small problem lately which was that I had too many resources. If you look at my base, I did all I could to attract looters to get rid of my resources. With the new amazing parliament, that’s not a problem anymore. Now I can spend resources!

Thank you Nexon and please keep coming up with new buildings. Good luck.

I have also parked in AA and I fully understand but the parliament is not solving my issue with resources effectively. I can donate about 6M resources through this building a day which is not still enough what I am able - so that a lot of resources is wasted. Two times more will be better. But still better this than nothing.

I would like to donate to my mates too to help them grow faster but this is not possible. Anyway after introducing next new age I will move to CWA and my resource needs will increase for some time...

Thank you Nexon ;)

Fufutus l used to think like you but kept getting enticed by the better troops. Getting rss is challenging but easy to get in SA and DA and there's no need to spend if you don't want to.
So leave the easy lane and join us up here - you'll enjoy the challenge and better toys. :D

Well Fufutus, the rat race AgeUp trap theory feels like fake news to me.

Aging up does two things: (A) Allows you to upgrade more things (for free), and (B) You face some different opponents in multiplayer. That's it.

As is it stands, by staying Global Age forever, all you're doing is remaining in the worst Age in the game; sending workers to do semi-useless tasks (if they have any left); and probably same situation in your Armory/Library. Your multiplayer and war attacks would be far easier as Atomic, and you'd have far less need/desire/whatever for using troop tactic cards. An AA attacker can attack many SA bases as 0TT with little trouble; while a GA attacking is a completely different story.

So either admit that you lack enough self-control and decided to not age up because of it, or age up and and implement more restraint. Blaming BHG for allowing you to upgrade more stuff FOR FREE as a gimmick to earn revenue is feels ridiculous.

Random Player, if you’re seriously saying that the constant creation of new ages is not a way for the company to earn more revenue, then we are probably playing two different games :)

Yes, adding new Ages gives people things to do as it offers new things; and as such, it helps keep the game going which yes, generates revenue.

But, this has nothing to do with you remaining Global Age forever.

There’s something good to be said about finding your own niche (Loonies!) and playing on your own terms. It takes more discipline to stick to your own path especially when others completely disagree. Props to OP.

Cannibals There's a difference between going against the norm (doing your own thing) and preaching why said norm is wrong stating it's a devious scheme to "force people to spend more money." The keyword there is "force."

That said, do some people spend extra money as upgrades are made available? Yes. Do some people lack self-control and must upgrade/max everything quickly? Yes. But does this mean a game should remain stagnant and never offer no new features? That'd mean no new or better troops, no new or better buildings, basically nothing new.

Not sure why I got so worked up writing so much in this thread so will stop now. Also, agreed Loonies Project is a great example of cool niche life; and has lasted so long; so awesome :)

The Parliament building is cool and a welcome addition.

That said, I found it easier to get resources as I advanced. There are less inactive bases, but there are more resources to be had. I get attacked more but none of that is a concern with %65 looted resource refund in the museum. If I don’t actively play for a day, sometimes those attacks help me farm(collect) and it effectively sits in the bank. I bought a house (huge mistake) and an estate (the best) and that’s it. I haven’t made a purchase in two years and I do quite nicely as a low end digital age. I can still Manage to upgrade the most expensive things at 280,000 oil and the rest is easy. All the while, I can donate the best troops in the game to my team who loves getting a Heavy Tank Mk 10. Basically what I’m saying is you don’t need to spend and can still get the goodies :)

This!! I am also a mostly free to play player. I am at 295 level DA and have in the works a defensive museum with crazy high stats without having paid anything. It is just patience and a bit of grinding making blueprints. That is all. My offensive museum is not that good but I can attack bases around 290-320 with success.
