I see a lot of discussion about the Drone Age, which is right as it's having a rough rollout with a lack of features and the signature building not being finished.

But what about us in the earlier Ages? I'm Cold War about to go to Space, and it's a bit glaring the lack of treatment the earlier Ages receive once they're no longer the new "shiny".

This is completely understandable, as traditional models place an emphasis on making the players want to advance to the latest Age as fast as possible. However, the current pace of the game makes this a daunting, often unrealistic, process for a new or even semi-experienced player. So, could you guys and gals at BHG throw us some love now and then?

I'm not asking for much, just a unit here, a building there, maybe a fresh leader or library annex if you're feeling really Skippy about it. Not all of the ages need one, and not all at once. Just throw in something every now and then to spice up the earlier Ages. Something that lets us go a little sideways instead of the straightforward upgrade, Upgrade, UPGRADE! Something like fixing the Spy and making it a regular unit, maybe even with it's own building, or adding the ability to add trees/rocks/base decor.

Just some food for thought on adding some flavour to our daily enjoyment of your product.

well CWA is not the best age to stay in anyway... but you get new shiny things nevertheless

Rocket arsenal is just one of them...

if you are already level 220 then advance to SA asap...

I'm planning on it as soon as I hit 220, but I'm at 216, so almost. It's the Shuttle and Paleontology that are driving that desire.

While yes, we get new things at every age, this is more a request/suggestion to keep them other ages in mind and to introduce new things every now and then farther back than the newest age so that more players can experience it. The council is a good example of this, as much as people dislike it. However, that's the first in a long time to do as such, so it'd be nice if it wasn't such a long wait in between.

The cumulative effect going up the ladder would off a more enriching experience at the cost of a little work spent on an age here and there.

Every age, once you age up, seems shiny and new with new toys but, regardless of how many ages there are above that, there is no 'neglect' for the particular age you're in. If you're wanting lower ages to continually have new things added each time a new age is introduced that doesn't make sense. Each age gets its new toys and benefits and that's it. You enjoy the toys until you move up again. This is the game model.
You want the very latest stuff - keep playing and you'll get there like the rest of us.
