Top 3 Generals to Focus On

I know this question had been asked multiple times. I looked for the answers but couldn't find in the forum. Therefore, I am throwing it again.
What are the top 3 Generals to focus on to upgrade. Currently, all my Generals are level 10 and I want to upgrade them to Level 11 but not sure what are the best Generals to upgrade?
Churchill is one which I think is good.

If you have Churchill, he's probably a good choice indeed. All the other generals seem balanced with each other, they're equally powerful but have slightly different stat distributions and range. Churchill is the first one that seems to be really stronger than the others.

For the other two, it depends on what you want. Napoleon has the highest range, MacArthur and Nobunaga have high damage, Joan and Alexander have high HP.

Cleopatra is a bit in between... she's damage focused but not as much as MacArthur / Nobunaga. Doesn't seem like a great choice for players in IA or higher.

i'd say Napoleon (i have it at 21, never dies) then churchill and joan

Napoleon always on any list.

the rest you will want your generals to be like a tank, range 3 and big hitpoint. So there is Churchill and Arthur because they already have those.

If you can get melee generals to level 21, they will become a tank with range 3 and slower. Then Joane will be better than Arthur because of high hitpoints.

High damage of Arthur will help to battle vs other generals, but you will want to sabotage the castle instead.

health to a general don't mean anything because they all have 20,000 hp after level 21 and no general befor they are a tank are very good. So simple thing generals on offense means dps over health and generals on defense. The only one that do t suck is Napoleon

Wait a minute, if Churchill has more hp and more damage than Nobunaga at the same level, then why bother leveling up Nobunaga in the first place? MacArthur seems to do Nobunaga's job - being the high dps general - better.

I took the health into consideration vs the add dps over MacArthur. And the upgrade for mac. Is actually less as you go up felt Nobunagas dps was sufficien enough and the added health just a bonus.

20,000hp means less than AA main battle tank. Joan or Churchill can have more hp than 2 tanks. 700 damage is just like 2 shooter!

So what we should choose, 2 tank or 2-3 shooter?

And take into account a wounded generals still do their job at full powers, when a dead general does not. So any extreme combat value is better than all round, generally.

Personally I don't use tanks at all so the only real general to mean is Napoleon with his range of 5. After that my generals I just drop any other general for clearing smaller areas or building hidden or out side areas

Im 179xp IA (still lol) my top 3 are: Napoleon, Joan and Mac. When I go GBA, Churchill will replace either Joan or Mac in the top 3 spots.

Hi yeah lol ... just spent all these resources on upgrading the stupid uni.. for what? about 200 xtra hitpoints wow. I asked CS upgrading gives what? They came back with xtra training which was incorrect
Oh well.

I'm also IA lvl 180 researching everything at uni. It will take all my workers up to December, maybe even more. It's great to have everything maxed at uni and will be a huge advantage for latter ages. Plus it gives me time to maxed all my walls and armory as well So far not so many IA like us

The only worry I have is - will they keep this game running and for how long? I hope it will be available for at least 5 more years but I doubt it

I'm like that also, I try to upgrade almost everything before advancing age.

I get it, we could be getting higher loot per attack by advancing but I would hate to have GPA defenses on a GBA base... I'm sure a lot of players think like that too.

I'm in no rush
