Towers used to have a benefit in being connected by roads to the city center (I think it was a health increase - but I may remember wrong).
Is it still the case?

Did something change? I thought there was some sort of benefit already, way before Atomic age.

The town center gets a health boost depending on how many buildings are connected to it by road. Maybe that is what you were thinking of? I'm not aware of anything else that road connections boost before radar.

yemen is right. your TC receives a health boost not the towers. Radar research provides towers with dps boost when connected to roads/tc.

Having an effective 100% Radar base is impossible though. My war base is roughly 60-75% radar and rarely gets 5 starred.
