Troop/tactics balance problem

It's been two months since the release of the v12.19 update. Bombers and Demolition leave no chance for the defending player, even if he has an excellent Museum and Council for defense. There are no countermeasures. As a result, the defense players suffer, they are just punching dolls. And the attackers have relaxed and are losing interest, because they can play with a mug of beer in one hand.

@Harlems369th @TheWise @BHGAustin @BHGSarah when will the update come out that will nerf Bombers and the Mongol coalition? Where is the promised rebalance? After 12.20, the attackers are gaining momentum and strengthening the Showcase. Defense players get very few bonuses from it. Also, now there is a Museum event to search for artifacts of war and many attackers have already found artifacts with 3-4 identical benefits for damage/hit points of bombers. At the same time, the defense players already have everything they need and are running into the 85% limit.
This is no longer funny, the situation is turning into a big problem

Totally agree. Needs fixed now. 2 months of ruined play time and still nothing but crickets. Saves me money defenders don’t count just make all bases AI designed and let O players enjoy. This seems to be what they want since they killed defenders and ignored them for 2 months

Can’t say they was not warned before it was even implemented @LuSt and boat load more warned them. Yet they didn’t care and refuse to address it now.

Won’t take long before this thread gets closed like the rest lol That point out how out of balance game is.

Really they knew bomber we’re problem before the update lol then they knew crafting event is just going to make things worse, them collecting data should not mean a entire aspect of the game become ruined after repeated warning and still no action lol this is intentional at this point to ruin the game for defenders it’s a complete joke. They wonder why player bash them in forums lol well here is a big clue don’t ignore and actually fix stuff that is broke yea make ur money but offer a product that is balanced.

Here is a big idea fix the balance and stop taking months and years building of players accounts throwing them away. It tends to make customers unhappy.

They simply don’t care O players are spending like madd men getting all the good O mythical artifacts and paying to re-roll the war hall ones they get from crafting. The ones that are left out are the defenders. If they ever do address us they will make sure all good defensive Mythical Artifacts will be in chest and cost a premium. Then when they finally nerf some of things we complained about O players will come in saying how the game is all about defenders and the cycle will start again. All the crap is money for them and being left with a unplayable game for defenders. So do what ya do BHG I am about to say hell with your company and this game.

I don't blame bhg entirely - a large portion the blame should go to the I'm-a-terrible-attacker-l-need-to-win-at-all-costs-using-the-easiest-means-possible losers that continually pay for stuff.
As long as these kids have access to their parents' credit cards bhg won't care.

Hi @Nikolay! Thanks so much for bringing this back up. As you noted, in the last few months we have made some extremely impactful balance changes. These have not been forgotten and we have plans to continue to iterate and improve the state of the game. Updates on that will be shared as soon as we're comfortable doing so.

All that said, please refrain from tagging @BHGAustin and @BHGSarah in threads like these. They are engineers. Each time they are tagged, you inadvertently spend their time checking notifications instead of working on debugging code. It is the job of myself, @Harlems369th, and @TheWise to intermediate, allowing them to keep their heads down. Feel free to tag me in any post to which you'd like a response, and while not every post will receive a super detailed response, I will do my best to get you information. Players are frustrated hence snarky post from players like myself. We had defense side of house completely destroyed with game so called rebalanced and yes we are kinda mad about it. The lack of actual answers and feeling game is bias against defenders is why folks hit the engineers lets hope @Davis has the clearance to actual provide answers. I am longtime supporter of this game since it started the lack of transparency of game direction has allot of player veteran base ready to say hell with this game .

only mongol’ coalition is a problem. If they nerfed monoglots and bombers than defenders would be op again. if they rebalance popular ones like American they will hurt the already week factory troops and fighters again.

This has nothing to do with 'clearance,' and has everything to do with the fact that we have already provided you with all of the available information.

I absolutely understand the frustration of players regarding balance and the state of the game. This has been a complaint I've heard from my very first day with BHG and one I've heard every day since. No matter what we do, balance will never be perfect. If you're not currently enjoying DomiNations, I would absolutely urge you to take a break and come back to see if a future update aligns more with your preferences. No it has not been made clear when balance will be worked on and any of compliants made by defenders

Now as far basically telling me to stop playing I get that as well cause I am complaining about not just a not perfect balance but completely one sided balance.

I am customer that currently you apparently don’t need anymore as stated. Now that is honest customer service about time and bravo for being real. I will definitely think about it.

So to all the other players that are upset with game I hope @Davis shows them same honesty “ maybe take break” . Aka Stop Playing

I absolutely want to help any and every VIP and F2P player in DomiNations, I just don't have that kind of time or power. All I can do is be honest about the constraints of the team and our current objectives. We are putting a lot of energy into the features our design/leadership teams feel are crucial to this game's longevity. In addition, @Harlems369th who you love to give a hard time, is in every meeting day in and day out advocating for bug fixes and QOL updates that better the game for the players. We don't always deliver, but we are certainly trying.

I definitely don't think that this is the answer for everyone, and obviously that is not what I'm suggesting. That said, I've also been monitoring the forums since I started at BHG, and you just don't seem to be very happy with our game. That's obviously disappointing and if I could do anything to change that I would, but I believe people deserve to play games that they love. It's as simple as that.

Absolutely! They might not end up as your favorites, but I'm happy to share a few that I've personally spent way more hours in than I probably should.
