'Unable to retrieve a video at this time'

For the past few weeks I have been getting the message 'Unable to retrieve a video at this time' from time to time when using Daily Rewards, Market Place & Retraining my armies. The past few days I can not now get any video's. I asked customer support but they have misunderstood and thought it was just about crowns, which it is not. Is anybody else getting this problem or have a solution? (I am using IOS btw)

I had the same problem for more than one year! The solution is to stop/ turn off the vpn- I have an iPhone XR

More than a half a year I get same message when trying to watch videos, so annoying. A lot of tokens from the free videos are being wasted just because you are not able to fix this. No free retrain is working anymore.

I am not using a vpn. If you say this bug is just too much for you to fix I might be able to live with that. Half a year is gone, lot of “fixes” had taken place but still no change

Sometimes this problem is due to the limitation of Google services in some countries. But if this problem does not exist in your area, it could be a bug in the game.

Hi B, my other three devices are uneffected. Problem is caused by instant retrain which stays unfinished more over half a year with troops lost somewhere in The void unfortunately. This bug prevents all other videos to be played (marco/instant retrain/daily rewards/Museum). When trying to play any of videos getting the message of this topic.

Cache cleared, no VPN. But good advice, thx.

I get this occasionally but then the game says it will grant rewards in 15 seconds...
So far, it has and then I proceed to the next video.

I would be very happy if it went this way. It used to be like that half a year ago. Several months all the videos are not working for me anymore...
