Unisphere does not spawn troops when destroyed

I noticed in pvp that when I destroy Unisphere, coalition troops don't spawn. It might have happened when Philipinos coalition was introduced. I can't be sure, I don't see too many of them in pvp, and hardly any attacks on my base get any stars, and nobody destroys it.

Might be the case when the Unisphere is the last building being destroyed on the map. In that case no troops are deployed - as is the case for Factory, Barracks, Armory or War Academy. When the last building destroyed on the map is a building with defender deployment upon destroy, then the troops are not deployed as the 100% destroy star award ends the battle.

I'm aware of that, but that's not the case. I've noticed it when Unisphere wasn't the last building standing.
