I'm in global age. I cleared a forest just now and there was a Templar Knight camped out in there. I don't want him. He's in my way. But I can't just tell him to leave, I actually have to hire him to get him to move. That means they I have to dismiss 3 tank destroyers to actually use the precious land I just cleared. And then I have to do it again and again for the entire strip of forests that I'm planning to clear. Absolutely infuriating.
This makes zero sense. Am I really meant to believe that this deranged lunatic has been camped out by the edge of my base for 1000+ years waiting for me to call on him for a crusade? What must he have thought as he watched planes and missiles flying overhead, while tanks and artillery rumbled past? "Wow, the Arabs have really stepped it up. I guess the holy land is lost. I should probably send word to the king." Surely at some point he'd have taken his dumb horse and screwed off. Like, if he really wants to fight so badly, I'll happily give him a gun and some modern armor. But I don't want his stupid horse or his steel helmet or his friggin sword.
Please either let me dismiss these guys outright, make them age appropriate, or get rid of them all-together. This is ridiculous.
