As we were feeling burnt out from beeing matched with sandbaggers we got matched with The Unknown this time.
We are really glad we didn't meet another sandbagging Alliance.
Thanks for those wishes , and I wish the same to you and your Alliance.

After 4 hits, DS is up 19-11. I would usually hit 1&2 but Flash your base change and maze set up bud made me go down a bit. Good base bud. Had to come in from your strong side up north by Versailles as the slow down fits my style perfectly. Hopefully you can return the favor to my base.

Nice attack, Yendor! You took me by surprise, choosing to launch the attack from the Versailles' side! Awesome attack! Kudos on 5 starring it
And, yes, I use a decoy base every war, and activate the real war base on Planning Day. I'm using my old war base layout as the decoy, to not give rise to suspicions that it might be a decoy base
Co-incidentally, we had planned for me to attack your base!
Nice base you've got, Yendor, with great placement of traps!
I launched the attack from the alliance gate side, and was able to betray two of your heavy tanks, and, luckily, the betrayed heavy tanks, along with my French tanks absorbed the serious damage from your traps! Great base, with nicely upgraded walls and traps!

After a long hard fought war DS will prevail. This was our first 35 ppl war and we learned the following.
1) First team we faced with AA ppl and helis in TC took our tops by surprise. By time we adjusted, too late. What's the best way to deal with helis btw?
2) Offense is deft the point of this game as we are the team which maxes each age before moving up. This helped some but not against DS firepower
3) While we crush our usual opponents at 25 or 30 wars we were taught a humbling lesson by DS which is clearly a more exp team. Thanks DS.
4) Nexon still has some work to do as we had crashes and one top hitter (Tai) broke her iPad so she wasn't able to hit.
5) Teams don't have to Sandbag and this war proves it.
6) Our team worked extremely well in trying to coordinate hits as I'm on a biz trip so wasn't on often for support.
7) Demo bases and mazes are a good strategy.
Once again thanks DS for good clean war. We look forward to our next encounter. I'm currently at airport and off to next stop. Cheers!

A well fought war by both teams! Both alliances should feel proud of having fought well, irrespective of the outcome.
Very sorry to hear about an attack crash and another of your player's problems with the device. In close wars, such things do make a huge difference, and we feel very sorry that such issues impacted the outcome of the war.
The best approach to deal with helicopters on defense at the TC (or, for that matter, any other troops in the TC) would be to sabotage the town center.
I've been doing this for a long time, and we see an increase in the reliability with which players 5 star bases after they get comfortable with sabotaging the TC in wars.
Hats off to The Unknown for coordinating the attacks while you were on travel, Yendor! That's heartening to hear, and is a good sign of maturity of the team!
