Well not a real state of nations but i want to share some toughts.
I already did a post about tiebreaker but there's more i want to say.
First, for people who don't know, i play brits..and yes i'm about to complain about brits..well not just brits but tiebreaker related to nations.
So, i already said i don't like the new tiebreaker with actual matchmaking. It's not a good idea considering the kind of mismatches every alliance is facing, especialliy not sandbagging alliance.
Before this new feature, reaching the perfect score was enough, you were safe, no matter if you were facing baggers or a fair alliance. people could go for loot or train on hard bases and it was fun.
Now this is not a post about sandbagging and i don't want to talk about how easy it is for a heavy team to make better scores when you have Atomic players attacking industrial players. But still it is.
This post is to say that there is a huge misbalance between nations, there always was but now even more.
Let's have a closer look at what i'm saying.
British: with line attack you can be very fast, ok, you hardly rally, but this "strategy" allows you to close an hard target in about 2 minutes. no extra troop needed usually.
Germans: +15% damage to all units and doubled rallies: Germans is skilled-only nation, the one where your ability to scout a target and rally is most important. But german bonuses are all about time.
Koreans. they used to be one of the best nations, now they are without nation bonus, at least until tactics glitch is fixed. Every other nations accidentally have an extra tactic due to the system not recognizing the 2 tactic space of sabs protects and betrayals, so what's the point of being korean now? storage blessing? nah better the Brits loot blessing if you look for an economic bonus
Romans are fine, i always said they should have at least an economic bonus (something related to roads maybe as we (yes, i'm from ROME) basically invented roads) but 10% extra army could help with time.
What about Greeks and French? they are heavy but slow! and many players play them, at least french for their bonus. So basically a french player has become useless for war, unless he uses troop cards.
I honestly think it's not fair for them. Time is not a factor that should be taken in consideration due to the differences that every nation has.
Also i would like to point out that DomiNations difference with other games is the fact that you can use rally, and troop cards simply canceled this peculiarity of the game..why thinking of strategies and rally use, if i can just drop 4 troop cards, double my army capacity and just let them do all by themself?
I honestly think this is an aspect of the game the devs should at least think about if their goal is dominations to be different from other games like CoC.
It would be interesting to read what Greeks and French players think about this. if they can confirm this, as i don't play those nations, and this is just related to the results i see now that we see time of WW attacks
