What is this attack?

Sorry if this is bad formatting, as I am new to this forums page.

I wanted to see if anybody else has a bug wherein they get attacked, and lose when the replay shows that they did not win?

Pictures show what is happening.

Is the very first multiplayer battle always a win? Because that seems a bit unfair how he got so much of my resources in a failed attack.
