Im playing for 4 years and i love the game but right now the bugs and cheaters are killing it very bad, especially the bugs. First the lag in attacks makes the game almost unplayable, second matchmaking is horrible for our ally, like 1/5 is fair the rest we have no chance. I cant watch videos in last 2 months and no explanation neither help from CS. And all that without talking about cheaters who are more and more and all the other minor bugs that have been there for years. So somebody give me a good reason why we should keep playing this, yes amazing game, but so buggy and getting worst every day/month.

Tough to say, really. Knock on wood, I've never personally experienced the lag, though I've seen it during ally and opponent replays in wars and I still get my videos. My enthusiasm for the games waxes and wanes though. I'm in one of my lower enthusiasm periods after two solid months of grinding during the Summer of Ages.

What keeps me going are my alliance mates and the fact the fact I'm at a point that I can play a lot or very little and it makes little difference. I know that seems weird to say, but the fact that I can only play when I feel like it and not feel like I'm missing out or letting my teammates down is actually one of this game's main draws. I played Marvel Strike Force for a few months and without a bare minimum of 1-2 hours daily not only did you not advance but you actually went backwards and pulled your alliance down with you. A lot of these alliance based games tend to forget that they're games, not an unpaid job. To be fair, I've reached this state of equilibrium after four years, six accounts, and the recruiting and dismissal of hundreds of players to get my accounts and alliance where I want it to be.

I also hang out in gold league and my alliance has 17,000 glory. So while cheating is persistent and rampant perhaps I don't play at a consistently high enough level to be affected by it as you are. So that's my suggestion I guess. Take a little time off, maybe drop into a less competitive medal league for a bit. If you lead your alliance, maybe groom a few people to run things while you take a little time off to remind yourself of what you've enjoyed and how far you've come. It sounds counterintuitive but sometimes doing something less makes you remember what you enjoyed about doing it in the first place.

Also, if your alliance is too heavy you won't get good matchups. Do you guys tend to max everything before moving to new ages? What age are the lowest people in your wars? You can call it sandbagging or whatever but we had a lot more success with a lineup of 1 space, 2-3 CWA's, 2-3 atomics, 2-3 globals, 2-3 industrials, 3-4 enlightenments, and the rest of our 30 person lineups being gunpowder or lower. Unfortunately the matchmaking has never really rewarded taking the logical course of slow and steady advancement. Or bringing only your heaviest bases to war.

Post-rebalance and post ''new'' matchmaking it outright punishes alliances for building too much defense. So maybe open your doors to lower age accounts and/or encourage your mid-age accounts to max offense and rush to atomic and you may see your world war fortunes improve somewhat.

If neither of those are options you'll probably have to rotate some of your heaviest players in an out of wars. It sucks, but figuring out lineups that provide you with the best possible matchups is possibly the most strategic thing in this alleged strategy game.

We have 3 players including me in the 270 since we all been playing together for 4 years, after its a mix of cw to powder age, i believe our 3 sa accounts hits hard on the matchups but theres no way we leave anybody outside. Thanks a lot buddy for the help 😊

Yeah, man. There's something very wrong with how it weighs space agers so if you have more than one or two it tends to give terrible matchups. Just offering what's worked from our perspective.

Anyway, good luck. I hate to see a longtimer lose their mojo and believe me, I've been there plenty of times myself.

My only other suggestion is to try to set your lineups where they're roughly 30% heavyweights (atomic+), 30% middleweights(enlightenment-global), 40% lightweights (gunpowder or lower). It may be easier said than done and will take some experimenting to get there but our win percentage went from about 60 to 90% when we stumbled on that formula. It's a lot easier to do in bigger wars too so if you're doing 20s it may be time to try recruiting until you can consistently do 30s.

i'm pretty much in the same situation. 4 years in and in space age and the lag in the battles make the game unplayable. i'm only still playing because my industrial age account doesn't lag on my iphone 6 and the events are still very doable. at least i can do expeditions and donate troops in my SA account lol

Yes, i forgot that point also, events are impossible to finish in SA, example the one we have right now, in CW you need 47 100% to finish the event, in SA 123!!!! How does that make any sense?????
