wish list for troop balance

I do hope they have the unit's rebalance schedule. So that there will be more attack pattern. Maybe nexon can lower troops space for comandos and mortar for it.

good luck getting any balance in the game when we have to factor in university research. im sure it could be done if we had a proper development team but i have no faith in the current team to accomplish a good troop balance.

BHG try to adjust troop balance thru university and library.
But the problem is without changing the base state, it is not much help in adding bonus HP / DPS
for example, Attacking Helicopter, 35 base DPS (lower than a shooter), 175 DPS vs building (lower than shooter with half size).
I am expecting something like 400 (600 full upgraded) DPS with Building, otherwise it is no point to use AH instead of Howie.

IMO, most balance do not require development work, it just simply number change and some test.
And for testing part, do you think BHG have put any effort on it?

SiuYin I agree with you, rebalancing troops or tactics basic statistics is not difficult task, actually its a one or two days job, just saying developers don't wanna do that cos their own reasons...
I guess changing number 45 for training tactic to number 6 or 7 is easy, but will happen only if they actually want to. I still think that rebalancing tactics is more priority then rebalancing troops...

I can only agree with the OP. The game would be several times better ballanced with just implementing the OP's list. Current state just not making sense (the most of the unit types are only to clutter and inflate game with no real usability). In fact, if you keep using shooters&cannons only (perhaps with a few tanks to distract the new silo), you have better chances that someone with combined arms. This is far from strategy game and closer to action game. Managing a fast deployment has more impact than army composition.

Pepyto, if you taking about reducing tactic training time, it is easy, and BHG did it before in some event.
If changing tactic behavior, it will be hard, ie the decoy lag

Thats not a good way to balance a game. You balance a game via the base stats.

Why not? Troop should be balance at the base stat level. Otherwise it will be much more difficult after adding modifiers

thats what i just said, uni is bad, base is good.

Im also saying the uni research makes it almost impossible to balance. Instead of just an age difference in troop strength we have to factor in the many uni researches that make it nearly impossible to balance. You either have to balance everything assuming research is maxed, which really screws up the balance for those not maxed or you, or you only do the base and dont factor in research at all, which means it still wont be balanced.

Apart from University, Coalition are also bad.
which more coalition level, it could make 50% difference now

The soldier it spawns has 1.5 range, APC will never be in front of it. Moreover, APC is one of the slowest units in the game, it definitely does not rush to the front lines.

in case all soldiers die it will become the 1st line troop, all possible units will be behind it, and in many cases this happens

The latest balance change shown that it is easy to adjust a troop.
And BHG just dont want to work in balance

TinSoldier tell this to your bosses, so you can make your player base (who give you money every month) happy and satisfy. There are a lot of issues ingame, but starting by thks is a step to make the game better and attarct a bit more players.

I have slight different idea about the balance
1- Heavy Infantry:
None.
2- Range Infantry:
Remove the ability to shoot over wall.
3- Tanks:
Fix AI: when rally to a target, it will fire from range 3 instead of approach then withdraw
4- Healing Vehicle:
None
5- Siege:
None
6- Raiders:
None
7- Mortars:
Set preferred target to the furthest item, and stop hitting wall
Reduce training time to 6min
8- Attack Helicopters:
Triple DPS
Reduce training time to 6min
9- Engineer:
Can’t be targeted by Anti Tank Gun


Factory troops

1- Machine Guns:
Range to 4
2- commandos:
Reduce troop size to 6 (4 after research)
Reduce training time to 4min
3- Heavy Tanks:
Fix AI: when rally to a target, it will fire from range 3 instead of approach then withdraw
4- APCs:
range to 5, slow down its speed
5- tactical helios:
heal generals and tanks x3 as supply trucks,
6-bazookas:
Range to 4

generals (make them more unique)
Reduce recovery time to 1 hours (after research)
