While I appreciate Nexon trying to give more rewards/benefits for participating in world war, lets be honest.. speed ups, wall manuals, trade goods are some of the most useless things in the game.. anything less than 5 days to anyone at or above global age are pointless. Trade goods are unlimited in the game, wall manuals are flat out dumb... as most players are dumbing resources at this point to avoid being maxed...

Marco polo gives players a nice way to earn free stuff in the game, you play in wars and earn rubies and then can spend them on troop cards... now all marco brings are just spend more crowns, and to make it even dumber, you have to purchase something just to unlock something you might actually want..

I have no issues with in monetary purchases as the game needs to generate revenue, but players need to be rewarded as well for just playing... and every player should be able to spend rubies for troop cards without having to go through an unlock process...

Need to get back to more of a reward base game play and less of the pay-to-win aspect which of course we all know dominates mobile games now a days

lets be honest.. speed ups, wall manuals, trade goods are some of the most useless things in the game..

so far this month i got 3 elephant archer cards from victory chests. i would have preferred speedups.

trade goods i dont usually use, but the pile i have saved up in my inventory becomes very useful in my time of need

I do agree that most of the items aren't as useful for someone who's been playing the game for a long time. Most of the items in the war chest are more geared to lower/starting players. I have like 1200 trade shipments in inventory so adding more is useless to me. On the other hand from my first war chests I got 1 hour speeds ups which I can really use. So it is all random but the main thing of all this is that there was no war chest before so just take the free stuff. Would I change a few things about the whole game yes but they are going to revert anything at this stage nor add better "Free" items in the war chest. TBH what I hate the most is the stupid animations and sounds on war map. We never needed a moving chest on the screen to tell us who is winning the war. There have always been numbers for that.
