From 14:00 UTC 6/13 until 14:00 UTC 6/27, we will be conducting the open beta test of World War replays! During this time, players will be able to view World War Replays, and we’ll be using the live data we collect to address the remaining bugs.

Replays for each top attack will be visible from both the World War Map (when the war is active) and the War Report (when the war has concluded). It will be visible to all players in each Alliance.

As this is a beta event, the feature may be taken offline, restarted, or changed during this time period. Thank you for being patient as we try something new!

In addition to the data we’re collecting, we greatly appreciate your feedback during this process! Please feel free to use this thread to let us know what works, what doesn't and how you can see this feature fitting in alongside other features in the game.

Even though I'd hoped we wouldnt be able to see replays of enemy attacks and I have mixed feelings on replays overall, I do think its good that you're finally making good on this promise. Will there be a recap screen at the end too?

I'd rather see replays of enemy attacks than my own tbh... I know where I screwed up - usually ;-)

Yeah thats a fair point, and why I said mixed feelings. I do know though, that a lot of high end teams invest a lot of time into developing new and interesting attack strategies, and they'll now be no way to keep those things secret. Maybe it sounds kind of lame, but I didnt like that one aspect of it.

Im really happy though that we can give feedback on alliance mate's attacks, I think that will be great.

The next question is will they actually work, even after the beta. I hope they have beefed up their CS a lot, to handle the 500 tickets a day of 'my war replay showed 3* on me but on the war log it showed they 5* me' lol. I guess I'll try to be optimistic.

I love that this is being added, but I predict it will lead to even more complaints about troop tactics.

People just need to stop whining and complaining, then.

This is exciting news, let's give some props to the devs. All I see are complaints nowadays. I love this game through good changes and bad. Glad we have something new and exciting on the way. (Optimism is good for your health btw)

Does this mean the multi player replays will be fixed and will now show a true reflection of the attack made? Those are still buggy and inaccurate...

Exactly my point. We as an alliance do not buy troop cards , rely on skill , and win wars pretty sweet. But now the tricks will be revealed.

I suppose one thing is, the later age your team gets to, the less skill really matters. It is mainly degree of sandbagging, and who pays to load SH more that seem to determine more and more wars than ever before. So, maybe attack strategy really doesnt matter like it used to anyways.

So you saying that any alliance with all atomic players will start winning wars. No logic to that . In our team there are only two atomic me +1. Three globals and rest Industrial/Enlightenment/Gunppowder/Medieval. And we hardly spend money on the game , let alone troop cards. If you really feel attack strategy doesn't matter, try convincing a medieval to take on a gunpowder with 5 stars.

No not at all, what I meant was, that once your alliance reaches an average age of high global, or early atomic....the biggest things that determine outcomes of wars seem to be who has loaded more strongholds with premium pay troop tactics, or who has sandbagged to manipulate matches more. I do agree, where the age your alliance is, and not facing heavyweight alliances, skill does for sure still matter. Its just if you continue to advance that you'll see how bad its become lol.

Wouldnt it be more prudent to get alliance challenges fixed first before rolling out a beta of replays? Along with the many other numerous bugs introduced in the past updates. just sayin..

Best wishes on the launch of this new feature. While it wasn't at the top of my priority list, I know it was for many people. Although, I must admit I am kinda excited to see how my base is picked apart by the opponent. Kudos for listening and making it happen. I hope all goes well with this beta and it doesn't just add to the bugs we are already experiencing.

Id agree with you.

And where is the state of the nations that was supposed to be here last week?

I am an YouTube and don't need to see my own replays that would be half like in no replays. I need to see how my base was demolished. I think we paying/non paying customers deserve that after all..
