Those false blocks might get removed if you save and edit the layout again. But to answer your question about all the bugs, they are milking the game with the least amount of effort. Once it stops being profitable they will take down servers and move on to the next game is my assumption.

Just click to Space age for starters. After that do the Microprocesors in library. The rest will come with experience.
