Two years ago they introduced World Wars, and that took Dominations to a whole new level. Alliances had a new purpose, and players had plenty of new goals and challenges. The game had a lot of potential to continue to be great. Unfortunately the team behind Dominations let this opportunity...
I encountered this the evening of 10/15 also. Had some free workers and decided to hunt. I actually believed it was an internet connection issue. After the 3rd time in a row, I decided to play something else.
Hard to know exactly what they are doing without being a part of the company. But they certainly could have a testing environment with clones of any/all the accounts that we play with every day.
Over a year now since this thread was started (by Nexon), and sandbagging is still prevalent, and rewarding. Perhaps someone can ask why in the AMA today
Agreed. How hard would it be to just try that formula change for 2 or 3 weeks, and see how it plays out. It couldn't be any worse than the other attempts to ''fix'' this problem. Apparently there is some reason why Nexon wants sandbagging to remain part of the game.
That's pretty much the popular unit set. You should give the motorcycle raiders a look though - they are great for raiding and can easily outperform 3 infantry.
Its a reference to an answer the game GM provided in the ''Ask Me Anything'' thread. I asked him to rate the current matchmaking system (post #14) and his response is the last one in post #20 here...
It would be nice if there was a way to earn "speed ups" that could be applied to a job, instead of crowns being the only acceleration method. Those could be offered in events, or from the traveling merchant, or the dock, etc.
I'm amazed that the Glory boards still have enough importance to certain people, such that they would actually devote their time and energy to this sort of nonsense.
I had a 100% war attack register as 18%, and of course won zero loot, lost all the troops and tactics. Reported to CS and got no compensation at all. They sent me a link to a post from last year about the Battle Refactor as explanation. I'm done with wars. The risk/reward doesn't make sense...
