Hmm, I understand where your coming from, and yes that is true about the gate's weaknesses but I still believe in using Garrison's (and soon enough Stables and the Colosseum) as a very important defense and i want to make my troop movements as flexible as possible. Thanks for the feedback...

Yes, but without the Gates your Garrison Troops can not escape the sector they spawn in to fight.
