I totally use my roads, caravans and farms. If I'm raided and want to hide in a treaty for a awhile because I don't have time to play then when the treaty nears it's end I'll have over 100k worth of gold and food to collect. It pretty much repays the loot that was stolen from me unless of course...
There should be more than 4 campaigns, because it gets pretty boring when I'm hiding in a peace treaty. Also old campaigns should be playable again with half rewards and then again with quarter rewards.
Generals haven't tipped the battle in my favor and are pretty pointless. They should behave like cavalry and go straight for defensive buildings because any good general knows the garrison is a strategically important target but our generals attack the farm next to the garrison while troops from...
