Completely agree, there is much to be said for upgrading everything, both about the base, and the player who takes that time. It's a difference in philosophy and I for one choose to believe there is an advantage.

We've encountered bases that are using bots to manage them. Like back in CoC. These bases are apparent because they are always logged on, they are upgrading in unison, and honestly, you just get the feel that people didn't create this.
