A lot of mornings I log in and try and get in a war attack before heading to work. This bug is especially frustrating on those mornings. Its either pay the crowns or explain to everyone (again) why I have to delay my attack.

I don't see the oil refinery but even with a 135K max level 2 Oil refinery you could have built a 210K airstrip or 190K Fort upgrade with all of the discounts they run. Just have to time it right and start building when they are at 50% off.

I don't think its possible to donate 4 Tanks/Artillery troops through the alliance gate with a Classical or Medieval alliance gate. And I had thought the medieval/Classical stronghold could only hold 2 troop cards maxed, so I think you are right that this was a hack. Good luck.
