My guess right now is no because I watched a general stay alive for far too long in the range of one of these things. It's so easy to overwhelm this things that I think they may need to be reevaluated. I don't use cavalry but they do seem to work semi well against waves of them.

I find myself steamrolling over them and getting rolled over myself lol. I wonder if they'll ever attempt to balance offense and defense or keep this a strictly offensive game.

Is it possible to slow these things down? I'm curious if there is a way to counter them.

Seems this game is poorly optimized for my device. It lags and crashes in battle at far too consistent a rate. It's runs smoothly on my iPhone 5 though. Very disheartening.
