Are players using loot cheats ?

Hey Guys
Ive been playing this game since 2017 and I have never seen a loot bonus that grants a player more than double of the available loot and this has happened to me many times.
Is this a cheat that some players are using ?

i have 150% all resources looted and 100 oil looted which is 250% more oil than what my opponent has to offer.
So, if a base has 10k oil available to loot, in the end i will get 35000. Simple....

How is that because when I loot a base, if it has 5000 in oil and I have a loot bonus I will get a little over 6000.
Where do you get a loot bonus of 150% ?

at the museum. it is the jewelry category that gives you loot bonuses like All resources looted and Oil looted.
I have 3 artifacts like this:
All resources looted
Oil looted
All resources looted
Oil looted
random 5th line

Also, don’t forget about the seasonal bonus. The top 3 on the list get another 125%.

Remember that Information bases that use the Hermitage wonder can load another museum artifact of their choosing. For a while, I had one that gave another 50% all resources looted. Then there are the Pay2win Museum artifacts that can boost looting, plus a blessing plus British, etc.

So yeah, you can jack up your all resources looted crazy high.

Personally I've STOPPED doing that. Earning 50 or 60k oil per battle sounds good in theory, until you are constantly full of oil. Instead, I swapped in artifacts that gave more boosts to my bombers HP.

Oh, and what happened to you? People take only the available loot and that it is magically multiplied. You do not lose more, if someone attacks you with a high loot bonus. You get more back with loot refund though. Which means, it is easy to make profit by getting looted often.
