Manufactory: No information on required building or army unit level

In the Manufactory I made the "Optics L.R.E." ammunition, I wanted to equip it with Air Defense, but this does not work - the message "To assign this ammunition, upgrade: Air Defense" is displayed. That's all! There is no information on what level to improve to.
P.S. It's all in the first ammunition slot.

There is it's just not that obvious..
You tap on a munition, and then click on the (?) on of the troop/building it shows how many levels you need to assign to lvl 1..

Yes, indeed, this way you can see how many levels you still need to improve. Thank you! But this is not so obvious.
In general, in Manufactory it is still uninformative and inconvenient with assignments - it is not clear who is assigned, to what level to improve, etc., etc. But I already reported this earlier on the forum, I hope the developers took this.

I think you guys missed my point it says "unlocks in x upgrades" for everything (refer to the pic)

However as both of you pointed out it's not very obvious to find, moreover even if it was obvious it is sort of an annoying process to check the level requirements individually and everyone would appreciate an easier way to see the minimum level requirements

That's exactly what it is - to make this information more obvious and informative. Moreover, so far we are only talking about the first slot, and with the second slot there is about the same confusion.
And as noted earlier, some army units change names as they develop, without any indication of their level.
