Maybe nexon should introduce a building that gives a protective forcefield over the oil? Or even a blessing? I prefer a building because its there for good.

A blessing that when they use demo on the oil refinery, they instantly lose 50% of their oil reserves to the base they are attacking. Problem solved!

The more oil you lose in this unorthodox way without peace treaties, the more you need to farm to get them, the more chance you might be tempted to use crowns to retrain troops before you log out, and the more money they can possibly earn. Unlike the university bug which affects their pocket and was gone in a blink of an eye, or the other bug which uses the "holy light" of castle to block your refinery and was corrected but not this, I have a feeling that this will be here to stay for a long time.

The thought into their oil cost is more than you think it is. For example, their decently good hp, what I'd assume is high movespeed, and high damage means that as alliance defenders they are quite good at putting down high dps on a unit. Though they lack splash damage. As a raider they really are a high luxury unit, but as a donated unit they have their purposes.

JMoney as long as artillery has splash damage + high range they will remain the superior unit for donations

As a matter of fact oil is not as hard as it seems to get nowadays. I got the event factory LV5 upgrades(140k oils with the 30% off) without spending a single crown like i used to. BUT IN FACT Demolition is a pathetic strategy that hurts my oil reserve the most. Hope they lower the damage of demolition towards resource building yes, that will get those peeps start thinkin using real troops.

Well the demo use on oil is not a bug, so not fair to say Nexon refuses to fix it. If you don't like it revenge the person back and use demo to retake the oil. Very simple.

And with Nuclear age coming I think we can expect demolition to upgrade to something like a Nuclear tipped missile.

This problem just become even worse. Whats the point in playing for hours, trying to make a good base design only to have your oil stolen by someone who does not even deploy a single unit. You should rename the game to Demolitions

Use of demolition is getting worse after the release of Atomic... I lost 20-25k Oil yesterday in 6 attacks. 4 of them were only demolition... I don't mind raider attacks - it is my job to make a layout that make sure that doesn't happen. But demolition? No defense against that... the 4 Demolition attacks came from Atomic players.. Two of them from top 5 glory alliances...

There should have 2nd oil refinery.... Single refinery is too easy to target. Since mills n markets have 3, why not oil refinery?
