What to do with extra gates

So as Im working on new layouts I have a problem where I sometimes have extra gates or one extra bit of road or fence. What can I do with those items? Can I pack them away somehow? Right now I just have them akwardly off to the side. Thx!

Hi there,

As not placing all of your structures in your layout will cause that layout to be ineligible for activation, you can try double-padding your Walls on areas where you need additional Wall defense. You can also prioritize setting your Gates in place of Walls near your defender structures (such as Garrisons and Bunkers).

You can also use extra bits of your Road patches to extend its reach on your structures to increase your Road Network Hitpoint Bonus.

Design your base so you can put them in. One of my bases doesn't have walls and gates as defensive structure, everything is un-walled, so those walls and gates I have are only for aesthetic accents, cause I like a statement base.

Unless if you're talking about war base, then the first thing you have to think about is how you will protect your town center and crucial defensive buildings with those walls and gates
