DAY 382: Reached the Global Age, my men are still sleep deprived. I have no gold in my markets to pay them for their labors so I use my overflowing mills to pay them in food. They are underpaid but they continue to push onwards...

So I grew some balls, and after another crash I dropped from 2600 to about 800. It really took some time to drop that low, the only reason I stopped I was going to bed. Overnight I gained close to 400 medals lol, although those raiding bastards took over 30k of oil. In less than 2 days I'm at 1650 already with 0 effort. Bases are not as juicy, and league bonuses are crap, but most of the time majority of my army survives. And it's just fun to bully those weaker bases

I forgot to put oil inside walls. And almost every attacker took 3-4k. I think I had close to 120k.

sponge USA Elite Will , so 2600 is better to farm resources?
There are better bases there, but it's less efficient. I can loot a lot more in lower medal ranges in much shorter time span.

I don't like the 200 medal range for loot, heading up to 1200 to see what's available.

silver league is the plum pudding - easy ia and ea bases, many with 200-600K rss + 1-2K oil which can be harvesting with 4-5 star wins (diamond worthy) and loss of only 5-10 riflemen (especially if you're german and use a brandenburg heavy tank along with biplane/zep combo attacks )

Are you still playing the game?
If you find it that terrible just quit. I did it in other games before.... due to lost of interest, too high maintenance or developers getting too greedy.
I even quit DN once for 4 months when I felt the game didn't have any future. But I came back when they started to have wars.

So, nearly a month on, how's it gone? Where are you now on medals? Would you do it again?
Toying with the same idea, just about to upgrade airfield, academy and merc camp in global so going to be without some goodies for a while, so maybe bomb down to 200 and climb back up again - get that defence acheivement. Sounds like a switch to good old moto's is in order.

Currently at ~ 1,900 medals and loving it, never see the NO OPPONENT message anymore.
