I got back to 1800-1900 a few times already, mostly through defensive wins, and had to drop down each time. Bases in gold league are just horrible, hardly any loot.

Don't see No Op at 2400-2500 either (2700 was when it kicked in a couple of months ago) and most attacks are TC snipes - maybe best place to be if you can't be bothered playing much, 3 PT's a day, 3 attacks as they expire.

Am at about 2300+ again now after dropping to 1750. Kind of ok. I do couple of TBs a day. Get what I need will have to do some serious oil sniping soon for air base. Think the Eddie F1 rule of around 2400 sweet spot still holds

This, actually Im shocked that Will is satisfied with this range

Gold II and I are the worst resources bases from my experience, there are people who play on medals (God knows why) and dont have a lvl on it so they usually are withou resources. Empire III or Silver I is so much better.

Interesting post Max_imus. Genuinely I would like more info on your two choices above. I did enjoy silver. Did not enjoy empire so much. Too many silly walls. Quite like kingdom 1 where I am now.

I can concur with Eddie. I'm hovering between 2300-2500 and all I do is make one attack in the morning and one attack at night. Good loot, good medals and the majority of attacks on me take 1 medal but give me 8 hrs of peace. Sometimes I even skip the nightly attack and will be attacked twice overnight but hardly ever lose more than 1 medal at a time.

I also leave a mill next to my exposed TC just to sweeten the deal for the climbers. I'm just that kinda guy

DAY 410: I no longer play like I use to... with all my upgrade periods being 10+ days there is to much down time to keep me interested. I really only log in now for WAR, hardly play regular battles. I probably won't be in the forums anymore as well... have to add my name to the list it appears...

That's a shame, Will, but understandable. As you say, there's nothing to keep us interested whilst waiting over a week for upgrades to complete.

Once my walls are all level 10 I'm very tempted to drop medals and really cut down on how much I play this game.

I've been playing a non-game since December, the odd battle to keep me hovering at 2400+ medals and WAR.

The game dynamic in Global is really stale, IA was getting tedious but +2m costs and +2 days upgrade times is real design genius. Game assets - the AI, troops, interface, etc are like a pack of playing cards, change the rules, nice new game - BHG/Nexon have constantly given us Top Trumps, my R35 tank beats your L7 mortar, we want 7 card Stud Poker or Blackjack. Even war was only a tiny bit different.

And as for walls - without checking I think I have 120 pieces, to upgrade them all from L9 to L10 is 360m gold - in my achievement list I have apparently stolen 330m since starting over a year ago. I am not raiding like a lunatic for hours on end for a barely noticeable increase in wall HP that will merely slow down Mr Cheater by 0.001 seconds.
