new event: guadalcanal for a flamethrower camp

Darn near impossible. If I devoted the time required over the next 7 days to get this event complete, I would likely have disregarded a lot of other responsibilities in my life and be quite ashamed of myself. Perhaps, BHG could rethink this event?

i am in IA and i need to kill 10900 troops. 15400 seems out of reach for the global age players lol it's like the khan event all over again

In fact, ALL the events are weighted this way. Also, the higher ages get stronger troops and more food/gold for each reward.

It's not really that bad. Let's say you need to kill 15400 defenders and you kill approx 100 per battle. Approx 6 battles per hour would be 600 troops. If you start on a weekend and average 7 hours that day that's 4200 troops - so you'd have it in four days ........ oh yeah, now I see. Guess us global boys are screwed!!

Well, like I said, not really an incentive for me but lower ages might do it .....

EDIT// Ok this event is such crap sorry BHG - 1820 kills a day, yeah whatever, some of us actually have lives. Just wiped two fairy decent IA bases.. yay wow a total of 102 troops.. only got 1718 to go.. pfftt not even going to worry bout this event.

Well, i managed to get approx. 800 units killed yesterday...
In the middle of the fight I realized for myself, I am not going to complete this one ...

So my thoughts were, maybe it's for lower aged and lower medal players, but when I hear that a enlightment/gunpowder base only offers approx 40 defenders.

There must be some kind of strategy to solve this... did someone test the machine gunners already?

At 2760 kills, 3 TB sessions. 3 TB sessions a day would make it, but I don't have time during the weekend... 15400 is way too much... Maybe if I just Sht on victory and go with a continuous attacking with 3-4 tanks and the rest mg...

there are some tips to maximize your kills .. pick a base with acropolis .. and Colosseum .. and try to avoid the tanks as they take too much time to kill and are only worth one kill .. there are lots of bases with towers under construction for the next week so this is a very doable event if you plan ahead and pick the right bases

Its an impossible event. Nothing else to say. If they want us to earn to pay them for crowns, then we need to work. Last one was too easy and this one is impossible to get. Where is the middle ground here?

This one is similar in difficulty to Khan's event. Players in higher leagues don't have a chance. If you want to finish it, you have to forget about medals and loot for a few days. I actually like this event, it brings whole new level of fun into this game. Up until today, I was solely focused on medals or loot, but now I just enjoy killing troops. I managed to kill close to 3500 yesterday, in about 13 hours. I didn't play all that time, just a few hours. Today, I'm up to 4000 kills. If I'm lucky, I should finish it this weekend. And all that without airplanes, my airstrip is upgrading, but I think airplanes would kill defenders too quickly causing my troops to walk all over the base and level down the buildings.
