Assumed that they are all at the same level my favourite is Napoleon,he never dies, then McArthur... My melee favourite is Jean D'Arc because of her high hitpoints, Nubunaga dies in the first 5 secs of battles and i use the last two only in defense

Nap's range makes him a beast! About to start upgrading him to lvl 16 and there's a nice damage and health boost that comes with in.

yes Napoleon is the best because of range and speed (macarthur is slow as molasses) but Joan is the best general by far, she is tough, intelligent and beautiful! (she can also be pretty moody and high maintenance but its worth it).

Depends on your nation in my opinion. If you are a nation with unique rifles, I would suggest maxing out your high HP generals(Joan, Alex and Churchill). If you are a nation with unique tanks(French or Greek) I would go for damage dealing generals(Macarthur and Nobunaga). Napoleon is an awesome general for multiplayer because he rarely takes any damage due to range of 5.

McArthur has higher damage scaling to lower hp scaling than Nobunaga, so I believe if you had a lvl 20 McArthur and a Nobunaga they'd both be riding around in tanks with the +3 range but McArthur will dish out higher damage while being made paper, worse than Nobunaga atleast. While Joan ofcourse has the highest hp scaling to the lowest damage scaling, then Alexander, then Cleopatra. Napolean does Alexander damage at +5 range. Not sure about Churchill.

i think the new general will be a 2nd place after napoleon because he will have the highest damage and health among all generals

they all seem to be the same, hp and damage stats determine the best with exception of napoleon because of his range

Joan is the best with high HP. I usually bring her and Nobunaga into wars
