'90% off Crowns' - is this a scam?

A post on an Alliance Chat panel is apparently from Admin', offering 90% off Crowns'. When you go to the website it asks for your IMEI code. I put in three 15-digit random codes and each time got asked if the same player ID was mine. I am guessing this is a scam. More info available on request (I don't want to openly post details, enough has been said here). Passing on your IMEI code usually renders your device unsafe and hackable.
