The recent updates have brought alot of cool new features to the game as well as some nice little aesthetics (such as the gold when collected from the road going in a wave along the road not all at once). Though i do not know the route the devs will go down in future content i have a few little Aesthetic ideas that could be nice.
1. fixing buildings that dont have cultural identification. Such as garrisons, stables, towers and even walls. for the example of the oriental nations even adding corner ornaments and oriental roofs could add huge immersion.
2. nation/player banner, it has said for a while that a player will have personal info/card. having a customizable banner for you nation or flag could be awesome.
3. nation colour. it is nice having a simple blue vs red system, blue for you and red for enemy, however customizable colours for your nations could allow players to feel more connected to THEIR japan or THEIR Germany whilst versing another player of the same nation. playing as red/purple/green samurai would be unique. and if some sort of clan war is introduced in the future, collaborating with multiple Japans would help distinguish and even have a warlord feel with many japans under different banners and colours.
4. the trade boat aesthetic upgrading design as you go through ages, even unique to culture. Chinese junker, Japanese Bune, English Man o' war. would be a nice little touch if naval warfare isnt going to be utilised as for obvious difficulties, at least making the trade boat unique will be a nice touch.
5. purchasable nature aesthetics, trees, statues and other trinkets to "pretty" up empty space in base designs.
these things are not dire or of necessity, however ad ding them in small doses through future patches and content updates would make the game into a more personal immersive play.
what do people think? any ideas of more aesthetics?
