Hello Leaders! With the ending of the Gifts of Peace event and the holiday season, we will be turning off Alliance Gifting at 15:00 UTC on January 12. Alliance Gifts will return in the future, so keep an eye out! Please note that when Alliance Gifting is turned off, all unclaimed Gifts will expire. Please make sure to claim all Gifts before 15:00 UTC on January 12!

So if we claimed the gifts and they are now sitting in our inventory, they are safe, correct? I have several gifts in my inventory i haven't used yet.

As long as you've claimed the gift (opened it), the items will stay in your inventory. So make sure you open those gifts!

Good call, hope they never come back. It just adds to the stalemate issue.
It would be even better if you would abandon any gift or event that gives extra attacking power.
