Anyone else getting, 'Chat Is Currently Unavailable' ?

Naturally, I hope this is resolved quickly but I hope this also means they're doing something behind the scenes to improve this game's woefully inadequate chat. For the amount of information that has to be conveyed 99 messages and 3 single paragraph inbox messages doesn't cut it. No direct message/whisper functions. Hell, lesser games even have rudimentary translators built in.

While I'm dreaming really big perhaps they can even move troop requests and friendly challenges out of the main chat? Sadly, this doesn't fall under, 'can this be monetized?', so it's probably just wishful thinking but better communication is a QoL thing that this game has needed for years.

Reinstalling the game fixed it for me

I opened a ticket with CS, shortly after that, the issue was resolved.
