Balancing Barracks troops.

So we know rifleman and if a try are pretty much useless, the Heavy infantry have an apc, so their base value is fine without being sneaky, as they Respawnables; however, riflemans range have not been touched as well as artillery’s range, yet defensive structures have.
this to me makes no sense, barracks troops already have weak Ho and damage why mitigate them further?
I feel having the “sneaky” ability towards rifleman allowing them unable to set off traps or ambush traps and avoid tower fire, and mortar fire would help them to their goal of destroying defending infantry, it wouldn’t make them OP as they are already extremely delicate and low dmg but it would allow them to be balanced, again, they are weak, their range leaves them exposed to everything and their damage isn’t good enough unless in numbers and even then they wipe easily.
WAY too easily.

Artillery needs better range, it has potential, truly, but is currently useless even the mrl.
Why does an attack helicopter have more range than artillery??? I have no clue.
it needs to be 8 or 9, it has weak hp like rifleman so they can be destroyed by sniper towers and mortar fire.

I feel these two additions would allow the barracks to make a minor come back, as I am personally tired of relying on heavy tanks, zooks and commies.
Please like and share it in agreement or add additions, I want to see infantry make a comeback.

I totally agree with you on this one, The artillery could be given 7 range as it will become untargettable by towers as well making it truly artillery which can only be intercepted only by defender attack force or counter artillery fire from the defender's artillery. The damage can remain the same, as it is already firing from over the walls. The idea to improve riflemen in the meta is by giving a damage reduction from tower buildings and making tanks tankier allowing them to not perish quickly and soak up the damage from the mortars and missile. I really want both barracks and factory troops to be good. Not one sided. I hope they balance this. Also I'd like to add that assault guns should be buffed as well, their role is to kill tanks while being low health themselves. I hope they reduce the assault gun's building destruction capacity and increase its anti-tank capacity and its range, they should make it 5 so that it isn't engaing defender tanks at close range. They can make the assualt gun the ultimate anti tank troop with high damage and long range.

Why make towers better than attackers
Why have artillery with less distance than machine guns?
Because this company has a history of making defences stronger with each update or rebalance - that's why! How else can they force you to buy overpriced TTs?

yes I dont disagree with that statement.
All I am saying is that it is unrealistic for bases with max defences and defensive museum stats around 80-120% (adtd, adth, dst, inv troops dmd/hp etc) to be five starred even by digital age players. All you need is just 4 ikes, 140+ generals damage and 120+ edst. And all that below 2 mins....

It should be harder to get those 5 stars. And wars should rarely lead to a time war. It should be all about stars. That's my opinion at least. It doesnt mean that you have to agree with me.

The only thing that remains to be seen is how the new nerfed Eisens will work. Maybe there is some hope for defenders to actually do their job.

I agree with you, artillery with 7 range would become a useful unit. To balance this change, I would make defensive mortars target offensive artillery. I consider important to implement this changes starting at industrial or global age, not before.
Another interesting change would be 5 range helicopters but able to fight back defenders (like machine guns). And for light tanks, I would increase their damage, cmon they are tanks!

Balance, balance.. how much sadness there is in this word.. There is a real balance only in chess and checkers :) Truth be told, the game has suffered a fate when talking about balance is meaningless. In order to have a balance, you need to throw the Museum in the trash and clean out Eisenhower and the like from the game.. but for this, Nexon must sell bhg to someone else who will change the sales model in the game, which is incredible
