Hi,

would you have a look to this layout and tell me how would you attack, which are weak and strong aspects?

I hope everyone of you share their ideas

ciao

If I met you on a regular mp battle, I would just press NEXT. Not because I could not kill your base but because (a) the cost would be too great and (b) I don't like bases with many rectangulars. Half the battle you spend your time watching troops breaking bricks!!

If I met you on a WW then I would follow this plan:
1. with 2 shooters I would kill the 2 factories and use Betrayal on your 2 Heavy tanks. I have done it in the past and works wonders when they are close.
2. at the same spot spawn my generals and my tank destroyers to lure the silo fire. Use decoy near the first cannon
3. split my army in half of 10 bazookas, 3 APC, 5 howies, 2 engineers, 2 trucks and alliance army (3 howies) at the top right and bottom right corners. Reason behind this move, is to kill the buildings fast to gain quick victory and approach from 2 sides your tank depots and TC while using Blitzkrieg and 2 decoys. Thus kill them quicker without having too many defenders to bother me. Use 2 planes on both sides to clear tanks etc
4. then proceed with 2 more decoys above and below the silo with what I have as leftover army.

This base is strong and guards your resources very well. Your anti aircraft in general is stronger at the bottom and left and relatively weak at the top and right sides.

Hi childs, thanks for the feedback. This is great and I really hope to get some more comments.
First of all I forgot to mention that the above layout is for regular mp battle. WW layout is attached to this post and in case you want you can comment it as well.
Coming back to the regular one, the idea behind the layout is "take the victory and leave the loot". Secondly the wall structure should make the opponent loose many units an time breaking walls and killing the defense units while the towers and mortars shoot. The anti aircraft upgrading is in progress but it is pretty weak I know...

By the way it seems you are a decoy lover...LOL

Mk6 line on the north, some mk6 supersonic fighters, maybe 1 or 2 decoy = 5 stars with 0 losses.

mk6 can be placed wherever you want on what ever base you are attacking...they are immortals....not fair :)

oh yes indeed I am!! When I went industrial and first used it, I was like WTF?? This is giving me wins that I could not take before! And if someone learns to use it properly then you can achieve 5 stars in bases 20-40 levels higher than you

“Take the victory and leave the loot” doesn’t correspond with all your traps being near the TC. I would recommend using traps to protect resources and not the town center.

A couple of more things, now about your ww-base. Again, putting all of your traps on one side is not a good idea, there’s a big chance that attacker will choose the other way (for example, I never attack from Versailles, I don’t like my army moving slowly). And your caltrops: they don’t stack, so putting two caltrops together means that you’re wasting one of them, if you want to use them together then make it a chessboard, this way you will maximize the area of their effect. Actually, caltrops are one of the most effective defensive constructions, far more effective than mortars, towers or anti tank/air guns, yours are two low in level for atomic base, you should really reconsider your upgrade plan and give them more priority)
And one more thing: one square at the bottom of the map doesn’t have gates for exit, so if I put a decoy in that square, your defenders in that area will be completely switched off from the attack, standing around and trying to figure out the shortest way to that decoy.

I understand and you can be right. The point is that the traps are there not to protect the TC, but to trap who ever attacks from that side of the map..almost all see that side more comfortable especially those whose level is lower. They get stucked there while the tanks deploy, the mortar hits as well as the two sniper towers

tanks for your comments, much appreciated. I'll put caltrops as chessboard. I'll witch a gate with a wall for the square below. Thanks!

I have been playing this game for quite a while on IOS, but took a 8 month break at some point. I never designed my base strategically for defense and solely focused on the economic output. Thank you for sharing the details of your base as I am using it as a template

albynos How did you insert your picture? I've been trying to attach pictures but always resulted in avatar size picture (30x30). No settings for that, is it?
