Battery usage increased drastically

Hey Domi-Team,

since the last update 5.75 I've found that my iPad mini 2 that I use for over a year now for Dominations is heating up more thus resulting in a much shorter lifespan of playtime compared to the previous versions. In the past I could play 3-4 hours on the couch when fully loaded without any major breaks, now the time decreased to around 2 hours and also it's very uncomfortable because the iPad heats up so much.

Could you please investigate what can be done to improve the current behavior?

Running a little test.

A fully charged iPad Air 2 will last just over 1 hour with continuous dominations play .... this cannot be correct. Before the update this was not the case

Berttie Yes I hadn't changed anything in my Dominations 'routine' so the answer from CS sounds like a pile of bull...

I've had a similar problem with 5.7 update on Android. The game drained a lot of battery while in background, but reinstalling the app solved it for me.

This isn't a bug, Dominations is a known data and battery drain...so plug in and use wifi and grind it out like the rest of us

Agreed, however this is different than before. My iPad air 2 is experiencing the same issue as the others here and it's much worse than pre-update. When it gets quite hot it starts crashing the app as well which can certainly be a problem during a battle.

Mine is also draining battery in the background. Not sure why, but there it is. I have to force close it when finished playing to reduce the battery drain. Post the last update. I haven't tried reinstalling yet.

Yo bro no offense, but if wanted to sit beside a power outlet with my pad, I would do so. But I want to lay down on my couch and enjoy Dominations from time to time and not being forced to shut down the app every few minutes I get to train troops.

No offense taken Dimum, but I been playing this game for 2.5 years now... the battery drain has been there from the start as it is in fact a "Big Huge Game". So like I said get yourself a 6 foot cord and plug that shit in if u want to raid for more than an hour... this is one aspect of the game I am certain will not change.

Even when plugged into the charger the battery will drain when playing with latest app update. Both on iPad and android device.

I agree. My iPad gets heated up so much that its uncomfortable. The moment I close the app for a minute, the device cools off. My Android phone battery usage has also increased dramatically. My phone keeps sending me alerts for abnormal battery usage and I have to force close the app. This is something to be checked, TinSoldier. Wasn't this way before.

I've seen the same thing, only now worse with the ios 11 update. 25% of an ipad mini battery after 30 minutes is not sustainable. It was not like this before.

it's working fine on my Android, not sure what's up. I've also definitely updated it on both devices
