Best league to get victories in defense? (and "crown farming")

Hi all, I read some time ago, a player that suggested an use for useless food once you are in Industrial, and have nothing to do with it, and from normal attacks it just stockpiles: you leave the mills outside and "free" so players will attack you for easy huge loot, and you get victories in defense, and crowns.

But my problem is, I'm not being attack that many times as I imagined I will be?

Come on, it's 350k free food, why won't anyone still needing food pass that?

So I was wondering, what do you think it's the best league to do that crown farming and get free defenses? As I imagine it, ideal would be a low league, where people don't care at all about medals, and no need for force closing if losing a match?

Also, my dilemma is, whether I should make the mills 100% 100% accessible and free, so that can be taken like with 3 soldiers. That gives me the defense victory, but won't give me crowns, and many attacks like that, I can gain enough medals so that I'm not attacked anymore, so that no crowns...

Do you think my offer is too poor? Should I offer gold too in the lot? But gold I value more, because I still need it for walls, although as a wall is 3 million, I don't feel to lose like 500k-1 million the night if that is worth crowns...

I even tried with oil, I was at 100k and has no use at that day for it, so I put my refinery outside and free... But again didn't surprisely get as many attacks as I expected, and 6k oil was still a high price to pay for each attack...

So what will you say? What league should I try, how much should I offer "free" or how protected, and how many combats can I expect to win a night like this?

Im in kingdom 2 right now. Not sure how it is in the other leagues. If you want to climb leagues than you may need to forget about defending and just crank on the attacks, there are plenty of high medal bases still at Kingdom 2 although Ive heard it thins out to all 1's as you get higher.

In Kingdom League it's impossible Brand, sure, nobody is gonna give you a free victory there, they use the force close.

But in lower leagues, no one uses the force close, has no point at all, but I'm not attacked so I surprised?

And I will go the way of climbing medals later, my plan is wait until I have the 1000 victory defenses achievement, meanwhile I upgrade base and armies. But only 350 now, I need a lot to reach there... And I'm struggling best league to do it...

If you are farming crowns then the best bait is your tc not resources. Leave it outside surround it with traps redoubts, mortars and cannon towers. Make it tough so that they will lose a lot of troops taking it down but not too hard that they will fail and FQ. Best league to do this is where people trying to climb to kingdom league will find you. I switch to protected tc cause I was losing too many medals, but I was gaining a lot of crowns. Defensive wins are a rarity

But then how much you get that way? 3 crowns in a night for an attack until you get a PT? As as you say, if they were to lose, then they quit?

Not what I'm looking for, I already have got some nights like 20 crowns "selling" rss the way I do, , I was asking something else, for if any one try the strategy I say, but the way the do it so I could get the most crowns.

I see where you getting at,you want multiple defensive victories so you can be attacked over and over while at the same time having the most attacker death from each battle so you can farm crowns. Sorry haven't tried that strategy yet, for that I need to go to wild west country sub 1000 medals.

I get defensive wins in kingdom league all the time. Had two in a row yesterday for total 43 medals. Didn't notice how many crowns I won.

This is also my interest: Farming crown by continuous being attack without getting PT. I will also experiment different league after i get the 2600 medals achievement prize.

I guess I will try 1400 medals range. Resource is urgent need in that range and I assume many attackers using pure infantry or raiders army so I give resource out but win so no PT.

BHG, I am willing to pay when global age is released to support you. But farming some free crown is like free gift, before new content is out.

If you are an active player you might want to reach dynasty league before dropping down. Better crown rewards. Also Leo please visit my base before you embark on your journey. I throwing a farewell party just for you, just make sure you leave all your medals before you go.

So I achieve both targets at once, I work towards the victories in defense achievement, one that seems in possible in high leagues with the Force Close current bug, and I get nice crowns meanwhile, as I don't have anything really to do, only rss I need is gold gold gold for walls...

So that was my point asking, how could I make to be attacked attacked attacked without stop for people just wanting free rss... At which league could that happen...

As a record for example, this night I was at 600 medals, I have been attacked 8 times, 8 victories, get a total of another 8 crowns.

But has to pay around 10000 in oil, and around +1 million in gold, I mean, I leave all my storages outside.

So with that amounts, feel like a bit few? I mean, why in that leagues won't a person attack a base with free 300k food gold etc? Maybe my base it's scary and they fear it? So I have to make the rss even more available? Maybe they afraid of revenge? But honestly that sounds so noob, lol, and doesn't make any sense at all, I think I have never used revenge so far since I started playing... Lol

If i was to farm crown as you describe. I would switch to Kremlin, Angkor wat and collosseum. I would place my cannon towers next to my tc and surround it with a few layers of wall like what most people do with their oil refinery. Do not what anyone to accidentally hitting my tc and giving me a free pt. move the tc to one side. Along with the towers. Need to make sure one of my garrison is at the highest level. Put all the garrison and stables in the middle. The resources such as mills and market on the other side surround with farms but within range of my angkor wat, collosseum and laced with traps. Next write some fancy message with my roads. Like eat me. Drop to 600 medals and see how thing go. I might put a couple of redoubt or mortar with range just in case i do not get enough kills.

Road message Farm me sounds actually ok, though I need to clear forest to make space for that, lol, but could be, but my point is also I don't want to sacrifice all my gold, and oil only exceding one, as only rss I don't really need at all anymore is food, so I have to balance it all, but will ponder how to work on it ahah.

You'll catch plenty of fish... at least until all the defensive victories bump you above 1000 medals again. Rinse and repeat. Oh and don't even bother re-arming traps, end up costing too much gold to re-arm.

Under 700 medals is raiders country. You don't need to sacrifice markets, these people need food and will happily drop their raider armies to try and get some. They also want to keep their medals low, so they will happily give you all the defensive victories you want. Many will attempt to get to your gold with raiders, but I assume that you have pretty good walls by now. I haven't been there in over a month (I was testing loot at different medal levels). Last time I was there, I caught 5 fish in 8 hours for 15 crowns and a 5 defensive victories. The trouble is staying down there; these victories pushed my medals out of raiders country. Also, the goal is to space out the markets and put in such a place they are forced to drop as many raiders as possible. You get more crowns (up to 3) depending on how many units you kill. You may not get as many takers if your base is maxed out though, nobody likes to be revenged. Happy fishing
