BHG.. We need clarification on Defensive Tower Damage in the Council.

Please explain, in detail with examples how exactly the « Enemy Tower Damage » and the « Defensive Tower Damage » in the Council. Many players are confused.

Does this apply to only the 8 towers, or all of the tower buildings?

These both apply ONLY to the Tower defensive structure.

Sorry, don't mean to add to the confusion but does that mean just the archer shooting structure called Tower ?
Or a structure with the word tower in the title ? (sniper tower)
Or tower in the description as well? (my lvl 10 Machine Gun structure has Short ranged tower in the description)
