Yes but you need to get Carabinner Raiders to get Motos which has a big increase.

Lol yup. It's awkward how various upgrades scale unevenly. Not just towers, raiders. Even artillery to howitzer is a big difference compared to older versions.

Yeah and from ballista to bombard is big increase. I think the game try to simulate the history techs..
