There is some hope. He said he would't have introduced the museum and it was to much micromanagement. Also he understood that the MM needs a big rework.
For my understanding the biggest issue after those is, that they didn't commit officially to work on the cheaters. One is asked to report, but nothing really happens.
The accounts who got a penalty are so massively cheating, that this doesn't hurt much at all. Also the bugs used to cheat are still effective. They just level up again and catch up within days/weeks.
I don't understand why such obvious cheaters are not just deleted?!
I think if somebody is massively cheating, it is unlikely that he is also spending a lot of money at the same time. Probably he spent earlier, but that's his problem. So I would have no bad feelings at all by just banning those accounts permanently and then step by step delete them after checking and confirming manually just to be sure to not kick a paying, honest player under any circumstances.
But it will probably hurt the numbers of 'active' players / watched videos, ... That's the only reason I can think of why it is not yet implemented.

Yup the only way to see if they have done something about a cheater is to look them up in game. Customer service always says they are on it. I nor anyone I know has ever seen a base rolled back in game. Only antidotal accounts on surprises surprises nexons forum.
Garuda Sakti have been in the top 20 for about 2 months now.
People have been sharing screenshots of Garuda's Iron Age 5CWA 280+ with 3D!!!! Madness!!!!
How are they still here AND in top 10 is beyond me.
And they keep cheating with their iron Age Accounts and nothing happens!
Does Garuda work with Nexon? I can not explain that otherwise...
