Copying war base to home base

Why I can't copy my war base to home base?
I have built a new war base and I want to see how it works as my home base,but I can't copy it and now I have to build it all again,very dissapointing.
I hope you guys can fix this in future updates.

Agree, it's quite frustrating to build again and again. In case of "non warbase" elements like trees,... which is not incl in war base, then just add it back to town base.

The reason the war base cannot be copied is that there are differences in the stuff on each kind of base. For instance... No ruins etc. I have everyone make their war base in a town base slot and copy it over to a war base slot. This has several advantages but the biggest in my opinion is that it enables you to activate your war base layout as your town base to test it. You can review the attacks then. You are not able to review attacks against your war base in world war so you are TOTALLY guessing if it is a good layout or not. I have found many weaknesses in my war base this way and have been able to correct them and or weaken the effect. One strategy that I found was to use the roads defensively. For instance... Roads are not needed to be connected to generate gold and in WW your loot is not stolen from your town base as a war base but roads still put gold piles out. Attackers can be delayed by these gold piles allowing your garrisons and stables more time to generate defenders and attackers from attacking buildings reducing their percentage of destruction. It should be possible to copy it to an inactive slot because it would have to add all the non war base items to your list of picked up things.
